Proxies
This error often happens with proxies. Add -Dhttp:proxy=[proxy address] and -Dhttp.proxyPort=[proxy port] to your STARDOG_SERVER_JAVA_ARGS.
Kerberos
Using Kerberos for authentication can also cause this error. If you're using Kerberos, see this section of our docs.
